Welcome to the homepage of Dr. Janet A. Thompson, professor of European history and Anglo-American philosopher of life and letters at Tallahassee Community College. On this page my students can find all of my syllabuses and supplementary course materials and hand-outs for Western Civ I and Western Civ II, the AIM Guidebook for Western Civ II, and course materials for the HONORS Western Civ II course (taught only during some Spring Semesters).
Students may also find information on the historical background to significant currrent events, interesting anecdotes, quotes, sayings, and images from time to time meant to inform, uplift and inspire the human spirit to greater achievement and excellence.
