An Important Note:
Requirements for admission to a particular major are different at different colleges or universities.
During your second year at TCC, if not earlier, you should begin studying the requirements for your major at one or two places you think you might transfer to after finishing your AA. You will need to have a good idea of where you wish to transfer after the AA degree about nine months before graduation. Six months will give you and I time to research those requirements and ensure that you take the classes you need, and only the ones you need, during your last semester(s) at TCC.

And a Warning:
Requirements for a major change from time to time, sometimes in a significant way.
The most up-to-date information on those requirements will be in an on-line catalog at the university's web site. The printed catalog for the current year may not reflect what will be required for a person transferring in next year. More critically, it may take more than a year for changes in major requirements at major state universities to be reflected in the curriculum for TCC's special AA programs. Often, but not always, a specific department's web site will also have up-to-date information and may also give details on course options and future changes in their admission requirements.
