Welcome to my Home Page! I have worked in the criminal justice field for over 39 years with 33 years of teaching experience at the college and university level. I taught at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL for four years, at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. for four years, at the US Army ROTC Officer Basic Course at Fort Eustis, VA for two years, and I have taught at Tallahassee Community College for 23 years. I was born and raised in Hampton, VA. I married my college sweetheart in 1966 and we are still happily married with two children and two grand children. The picture is of me with my grandson. My education includes a BS in Criminology from the University of Tampa and a MA in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida, both located in Tampa, FL. I am also a graduate of the Army Officer Candidate School, the Army Military Police Officer School, the Army Intelligence Officer School, the Army Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College for senior army officers. I enlisted in the Army as a private in 1966 and retired as a colonel in 1996 having served 12 years on active duty in Germany, Korea, VA. and NC., and 18 years on active drilling reserve duty in FL. and NC.
